Love in Focus
At The Diamond Guys, we believe every love story deserves to be told beautifully. Ryan and Miche’s story feels like something straight out of a European romance film — complete with a breathtaking proposal on the shores of Lake Como, a vintage wooden boat at sunset, and a ring designed with intention and heart.
Here’s their story, in their own words.
The Proposal
When Ryan and Miche began planning their first international trip together to Europe, Miche had a feeling a proposal might be part of the itinerary.
The real clue came at dinner with her brother. He casually asked where they were traveling — and before Miche could answer, Ryan quickly replied, “Lake Como.”
The giveaway was they hadn’t discussed specific locations yet.
From that moment on, Miche suspected Lake Como would be the place. She kept that to herself.
Fast forward to two weeks of traveling across Europe — with Ryan secretly carrying the ring the entire time in a fingerprint-secured gun safe. The pressure was real.
As their trip was winding down, Ryan told Miche to get ready for a “garden tour reservation.” He led her through a stunning garden overlooking Lake Como. At one perfect moment, he stopped, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him.
She said yes.
When Miche looked around, people were clapping. A photographer appeared from the bushes to capture the entire moment. And then — as if it couldn’t get more magical — Ryan surprised her with a private vintage wooden boat waiting to take them out onto the lake at sunset. For two hours, they floated across the water while their photographer captured breathtaking engagement photos.
“It was absolutely magical,” Miche said. “I felt like I was in a dream.”
The Ring
Before the proposal, Ryan and Miche had talked about marriage and began exploring engagement rings together. Ryan shared his plans with his sister, who immediately connected them with The Diamond Guys.
They scheduled an appointment and met with Tina — and from day one, the process felt special.
Miche describes herself as incredibly indecisive, and finding the perfect ring took time. But Tina never rushed or pressured them. Instead, she offered steady guidance and support throughout the process.
Ryan added his own creative touch to the final design: a hidden halo.
That hidden halo became a meaningful detail — subtle, intentional, and symbolic of the thought and care Ryan poured into the design. The final ring was everything they hoped for.

Growing as a Team
For Miche, the foundation of their relationship is growth — not just as individuals, but as partners building a shared life.
Her hope is that they remain each other’s strongest supporters: encouraging big goals, celebrating wins, and keeping perspective during disagreements. She values the idea of staying connected through everyday moments — laughing often, continuing to date each other, traveling, and never taking their relationship for granted.
Arguments will happen. Challenges will come. But the commitment to work through them — and come out stronger — is what matters most.
Ryan is most excited about building a life that continues to evolve.
He looks forward to learning from one another, supporting each other’s ambitions, and facing challenges as a team. Milestones, adventures, quiet evenings at home — all of it matters.
What excites him most isn’t just the big moments. It’s the idea of creating a home filled with warmth, shared memories, and steady partnership.
